Leopard Girl Masozi's bio

I've been working on Masozi's bio to better reflect the changes I've made to her since her creation.

Masozi was born in the Kingdom of Thizai in the country of Ghana to a Moroccan horse-breeder and a chambermaid he had an affair with. When she was born, she was abandoned to a orphanage where she was named Masozi by the headmistress due to the tears her mother cried when she gave her up. While born to two West African people, the fact that she wasn’t of Ghanaian decent was a obstacle that she had to overcome. Thizaian tradition dictated that all native-born youth must partake in a special ritual. When she was the proper age, Masozi partook in the test to see if she was a “Totem Avatar”; those individuals whom were able to tap into the spirit of various animals. Those whom were avatars were inducted in a selective rigorous training regiment to help unlock their full potential. Only one out of seven avatars made it though the ordeal alive. When Masozi took her test, it was discovered that she carried the totem of the leopard, an animal known for its cunning, strength, precision, and stealth. Due to this, Masozi was trained in the elements of combat, stealth, parkour, gymnastics, hunting, and tracking. After she pasted those trials, and survived the most dangerous part of the training, the insertion of a mystical gemstone though her nasal cavity into her brain, She was chosen by the king himself to be placed in the Saifu Kabila; the elite soliders of the Thizai military. The other members, espically the team leader, Rubani, was not pleased by this. Usually members from the regular military are chosen after a few years of service, but Masozi basically got in without having to serve.

That wasn’t the only reason for the displeasure; all the members of the Siafu Kabila were related by blood; Rubani, Karifu, and Majuna are all cousins and Zola is Rubani’s grandmother. The fact that an outsider, especially an unproven outsider, was a part of their clique was unacceptable to Rubani. Masozi fulfilled her role of Leopard Girl to the best of her ability, complemented each member of the Siafu Kabila individually and as a team. Her and Karifu even managed to become best friends, much to the chagrin of team leader Rubani. Masozi eventually earned the respect of the entire Siafu Kabila, even Rubani by stopping an assassination attempt on the king’s life by an assassin with a (up to that point) flawless killing record. However, that very act is what doomed Masozi’s membership with the Siafu Kabila.

Soon after that, The entire Siafu Kabila joined the royal family on a hunting safari in the Ghanaian savannah. During the trip, the family came under attack by a swarm of humaniod locust. During the melee, the queen and two of the princes and a princess were seriously injured and the king was kidnapped. Masozi was charged with tracking down and rescuing the king from his captors while the rest of the Siafu escort the rest of the royal family back to Thazai. Masozi stated to the her teammates and the royal family,

“If it takes my last breath, I WILL bring the king back to his rightful kingdom!”

After Masozi left, Rubani looks to where Masozi took off with a sneer on her face, and said,

“ I‘m afraid that even your last breath won’t be enough, Little Leopard …”


Powers/Abilities: Masozi’s superhuman powers are all rooted in the mystical gem that was lodged in her brain in her initiation in the Siafu Kabila. The gem caused Masozi’s five senses to function with high levels of superhuman accuracy and sensitivity, giving her abilities far beyond the limits of a normal human. Masozi’s sense of sight allows her to see clearly in near-darkness. She is also to see in the infrared and ultraviolet spectrums. Masozi hearing has a maximum range of 2 miles. Her sense of smell was so keen that she can detect a drop of blood in a large lake and her sense of touch is sensitive enough to “feel” the air like a radar.

Masozi is a physical fit woman whom engaged in rigorous training thus having the strength, agility, durability, endurance, reflexes, speed, healing, and stamina of an Olympic-level gymnast. With the gem embedded in her brain, Masozi’s physical attributes have been pushed to the very limit that a human can hope to achieve. Masozi is able to lift a maximum weight limit of 1100 lbs, run a mile in a little under two minutes, and heal any non-serious wounds within a hour. Masozi’s metabolism is enhanced to the point that fatigue poison has almost no effect on her. She can heal most cuts and bruises within an hour, and all but the most serious fractured and broken bones within a day. However, Masozi’s system is still vulnerable to outside influences such as poison, gases, and other agents.


*EDIT* I've tweaked Masozi's look a bit with the eyes, added a backpack to carry her gear, changed be hair to a more "nappy" look, and gave her some sandals.
